The third semester seminar
This is a workshop seminar where we are going to talk about the master’s thesis process thus far and discuss the road ahead now that the fourth and final semester is approaching. We are going to work with topics such as:
- How to structure a master’s thesis.
- Different challenges with theory, methodology and analysis.
- How to handle possible obstacles in the writing process, such as demotivation, stress and writer’s block.
The seminar includes group discussions. You will be expected to discuss the topic of your thesis, research questions, methodology and progress.
Please note that we cannot address questions that are specific to individual MA projects, but we will focus on challenges and questions that are common for MA students at this stage in their project.
We will serve coffee and snacks!
If you have any questions, please contact studieinfo@media.uio.no
We look forward to seeing you!
Kind regards,
The Department of Media and Communication
