My name is Yasmin, and I study Linguistics, Plain Language and Scandinavian Linguistics. We’re in a complicated relationship. I have been student representative for the past year and I have learned a lot from that experience. I wish to continue on the board to ensure that the establishment of the new BA programs in Scandinavian studies happens on the terms of the students.
Apart from that, an important part of my role is to remind the institute that the best way to ensure that students pass their exams is to invest more into creating a welcoming and actively social environment for students, as well as focusing on hiring engaging lecturers.
