In 2020, the Centre for Ibsen Studies acquired the collection of books by and about Ibsen belonging to the late Professor Emerita Vigdis Ystad (1942 – 2019). Prof. Ystad was a crucial figure for the development of the Centre and of its related project Henrik Ibsen Skrifter, and we were extremely grateful when her family generously donated the Ibsen-related part to her library to us.
This collection has now been catalogued and is available for students and scholars in our library. On the occasion of the start of the semester, our librarians Kristin Kosberg and Nicolai Holck have prepared a small exhibition with a selection of books from the collection. You’re all welcome to drop by at the Centre and visit it during the library opening hours.
