The Oslo Poetry Research Group

The research group studies poetry in a wide range of perspectives. Our focus is broad and includes epic, lyric and dramatic poetries.

About the group

«The Oslo Poetry Research Group (OPR)» studies poetry in areas and historical periods, across genres, art forms and media. This includes print poetry, visual poetry, sound poetry, film poetry, sung poetry, or digital poetry.

We work in the field of critical theory in poetry with a particular interest in romantic, modern and contemporary poetry.
