Vi ønsker å invitere nye bachelorstudenter (kull 2018) til et midtveisseminar der vi snakker om første semester. Vi har hovedfokus på bachelorveiledningen og studiestarten.

The oponent is Jan Fredrik Hovden (University of Bergen). Supervisor is Cristina Archetti.

The aim of this PhD seminar/workshop held by Anne Jerslev and Annette Hill is to discuss the concept of genre and the broader transformations of genres in a digital era in which the blurring of boundaries challenge our conceptual understandings of media culture on many levels. How should we understand genre today?

This symposium brings together prolific voices from the fields of psychosocial and psychoanalytic studies, offering in-depth analyses of digital media culture. Presentations range from inquiries into fragmented attention to deep play and video-games, from fantasies of masculinity in the ‘Incel’ movement to the psychical dimensions of public argument and the libidinal economy of corporate online platforms.
