The Meeting Room features a Zoom room system with a Logitech RoomMate machine and controller for hybrid meetings. The RoomMate is located below the center table of the room and should always be on. You will also find the necessary equipment for your session here.
Using The Zoom Rooms System
Turn the TV on with the remote controller, and make sure the source selected is PC.
How do I set up a meeting?
Use the Zoom Rooms pad controller (start, stop, join meeting, settings, etc.). To host a meeting, switch the TV input to “Fast PC” and click “New Meeting” on the pad. This will open a new 239 Zoom Rooms meeting. To join a 239 Zoom meeting, use the details below. They will always be the same.

The camera angle, volume and mic mute are all adjustable from the white Logitech RoomMate controller.
How do I share content with all participants and on the big TV?
To share your content, simply use the dedicated "Zoom Screen Share" HDMI cable on the meeting room desk. Connecting a device here will automatically share its content in the Zoom Room, the big screen and to all remote participants.
Connecting your personal laptop to the TV
To use your own computer, connect to the screen through HDMI. There are several adaptors available on the cable.
Use the TV remote controller and change the source to laptop.
You may need to change some settings on your computer to optimize for this screen.
Connect your laptop to the sound system by choosing HDMI in the computer's sound settings, so the audio will play through the Genelec speakers.
Problem solving
- Some of the later laptop ports, such as USB-C, are more prone to wear. If you are unable to connect your laptop, try moving the cable around a bit.
- Try to turn off and on the white RoomMate machine located in one of the small compartments at the meeting desk.
- If the system is still troublesome, a power reboot might be necessary. Pull out and reconnect the power cable. After rebooting, note that the system needs some minutes to restart.
